The very thought that people with similar dependency problems can come together and morally encourage each other through their own experiences and achievements has gained wide appeal in the treatment scene of the state. Today, support groups like the Alcoholics Anonymous are widely active in the state and with their unique theories they are contributing immensely to solving the problem of alcohol abuse in New Mexico.
